Youth Ministry

Since 2003, ARDA has actively sponsored new Christian outreach programs in communities throughout Armenia. In a unique partnership with Young Life International, there are now 13 active Young Life/ARDA ministries in Armenia. These weekly gatherings called “Clubs” meet in the capital city of Yerevan plus outlying cities such as Vanatzor and Ararat as well as smaller villages like Nshavan and Arevshat. Thousands of teenagers attend the clubs which inevitably become their home away from home as their leaders shower love on them and teach them Biblical truths.The club kids are all encouraged to attend local churches. ARDA and Young Life have sponsored thousands of kids for a life-changing week of summer camp. Currently Young Life is building the first Young Life Camp in all the Former Soviet Union in Armenia in the beautiful mountainous village area of Artzak about ninety minutes North of Yerevan. These clubs or “Youth Centers” provide kids a place to call their own, to meet with leaders, to enjoy doing what kids do best…”Hanging out with their friends”. There are now 16 full time staff employed by Young Life and ARDA as well as a team of nearly 100 volunteer leaders committed to building friendships with kids and sharing the message of Jesus Christ with them.
